How Long Does a groundworks project take?
It depends on the size and complexity of the project, ground conditions and the wider build programme. A small external works package might take a couple of weeks, while a full residential development can run for 12 months or more. We'll agree a realistic programme with you upfront and work to it.
Can you work on sloping or restricted-access sites?
Yes. Torbay's hillier sites and tight access are something we plan for from the start. We've delivered groundworks on enclosed sites where materials had to be lifted in by HIAB, and we have the compact plant and experience to work safely where space is limited. We also design and build retaining walls for sloping sites.
Do you supply labour, plant and materials?
We can work in whichever way suits your project. We regularly provide labour and plant with materials supplied by the client, and we also deliver full labour, plant and materials packages. Our own plant includes excavators from 3 to 13 tonnes and dumpers.
